Coffee from Kenya has returned to our menu! It has been a while since we've carried a Kenyan coffee and this one is a welcomed return to the rotation! Kenya is experiencing a lot of farmers abandoning their crop for products that are easier to grow and result in greater reward for their efforts. Nyeri Hill is standing firm and producing high quality coffee in Kenya and has been since 1914. Nyeri Hill also focuses on reforestation in 250 of the 1400 hectares estate, preservation of natural vegetation to encourage biodiversity, and soil retention through solutions like Bermuda Grass cultivation.
The lively brightness of lime and grapefruit, characteristic of Kenyan coffee, is beautifully balanced by a silky brown sugar sweetness, creating an iconic Kenyan coffee experience.
